Michael Dressen – Executive Profile

Michael Dressen is a co-founder and Managing Director of DressenHeims Unternehmensberatung GmbH. He has more than 30 years of international leadership and restructuring experience across Europe, the United States and Asia. During his career, he has been responsible for businesses with revenue of up to six billion euros and teams of up to 1,200 employees.

Before co-founding DressenHeims Unternehmensberatung GmbH in September 1997, he restructured companies in Italy and the United States as Managing Director. He subsequently led restructuring, integration and divestment projects in Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States and Hong Kong as a consultant and interim manager.

From 2005 to 2011, Michael Dressen served as Managing Director of ALSO Germany and as a member of Group Management. From 2007 to 2009, he additionally led the restructuring of the company’s operations in Norway and Sweden.

From 2012 to 2022, he was Senior Vice President responsible for the DACH region at Tech Data, now TD SYNNEX, and served on the European Executive Board. In 2017, he successfully led the integration of Avnet Technology Solutions into the DACH organisation.

Today, Michael Dressen combines his extensive restructuring and management experience with process optimisation, automation and the targeted use of artificial intelligence to deliver sustainable improvements in productivity and competitiveness.
